Day 1 Summary: 40% Funded!

It's been an incredible, emotional first day for us at 3 Halves Games. When it comes to making a campaign, no amount of reading and research can truly prepare you for the personal whirlwind of emotions you will feel the moments before hitting the go button. To say we're humbled by all the attention that our project has garnered in such a short time would be an understatement. Reaching 40% of our funding goal in under 12 hours was so unfathomable it's hard to believe it's real. We'd like to share our excitement with you by discussing the next steps of the campaign.

Beta Playtesting Continues

This project promises the delivery of the full Sovereign Tea title in May 2021. Most importantly, we note that access to the closed beta of the game will begin as soon as the campaign is over. We mean that fully: the beta build of the game is done. Our earliest supporters, those who bought into the project many months before this Kickstarter campaign was even conceived, already have their hands on the beta. Our hope is that they can play through it extensively on their end to uncover any unknown bugs for us to fix throughout the course of the month. In doing so, we will deliver onto you a polished, complete beta experience right at the conclusion of the campaign in early November.

Moving Forward with the Campaign

Now that the first day is done, we need to widen our marketing efforts. The coming days will have different social media posts focusing on different aspects of the campaign. While our first post on Twitter was specifically regarding our game's primary trailer, our next posts will focus more on the physical goods we provide as backer rewards. In particular, we will focus on the loose leaf tea rewards, as we believe that's our most exciting reward. We're also broadening the sites we're targeting and will prepare specific materials for different platforms to go out live in the coming days.
